Speedo drive pinion change

Post by Andrew1967 »

Quick question. ….

I’ve got to change the speedo drive pinion in HOY and am going to attempt to do it from underneath with the car up on ramps .

Question is , with the car on ramps at the front (standard type ramps height wise ) will I need to drain the oil or can I get away with not draining the oil.

Don’t want to if I dont have to, but also dont want to end up with oil everywhere

Hey Andrew,

If it's just the Pinon, no, you'll be fine mate :)
