I am getting hung up with importing some interior from Newton. To be clear, I am not importing a car, just interior parts.
The accursed US customs is asking for form HS7 to be completed for this interior.
Has anyone come across this problem before and how should/can I complete this form or get around this problem

Just tell them it is for a 25 year old car, looks like the first box to be checked.

Have you spoken to Newton regarding this ? Yours won't be their first enquiry / sale to the US.
I've not done it in to the US, however, while the form isn't clear, reading all the various sub-sections under the header boxes, it appears you tick one box and sign the declaration. I would think in this case, tick box 1.
