Not sure why you'd want to do this.
I fitted one sourced from an Alfa Romeo 156 in my MK1 Sprite, but removed it pretty quickly. It's just one more thing to go wrong.

I used the one from a Rover Mini on our two Travellers, about 25K miles between them with no issues.
