Paul McCartney ate Frome........ That reminds me of an episode of The Vicar of Dibley, where due to a mis pronunciation, Elton John was due to appear and sing at the village fete

I have to agree with Beatles biographer Hunter Davies:-
"We are so lucky to have had the Beatles in our lifetime. And to have Paul still with us. Still pleasing us. Still pleasing himself…"

As someone who grew up with the Beatles music it was great to see such a widely mixed range of ages in the audience at Glastonbury enjoying Paul's non-stop 2 hour 45 minute performance of just a few of the Beatles and his back catalogue of songs at the age of 80! Surprise highlights included the virtual duet with John Lennon on the 1970 track I've Got a Feeling (thanks to Peter Jackson director of the recent Get Back films) and duets on stage with Dave Grohl and Bruce Springsteen, plus their final encore of Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End from Abbey Road.

Just watched his Glastonbury set, definitely a game of two halves, first half was poor and abit boring, brought the strikers on for the second half and definitely picked up the pace. Good game in the end!
