Gearbox 22A363
Does anyone know if this gearbox will accept a std 1275 pre A+ Short engine ? i.e. will the crank clear the main gearbox web

From memory a small amount of material needs removing to allow clearance for the web to pass. You should be able to see where if you fit the base case to the block.

Was this originally a 997 cooper gearbox case ?
Same stroke as a 1275 if yes .

Originally fitted with cone synchro gear sets, in wand and remote version. Wand was 850cc and remote 997 cooper.
