Mk1 headlining

Post by Daz1968 »

I have a mk1 headlining that I was going to use in my mk2, however it is more of a grey colour but still same crackle pattern, anyone know what year or model this would be from.

Thanks

Is it a full headlining or just the material to be attached to a frame?

Newton C sold me a grey headlining but then apologised and replaced it when I queried the colour. Apparently grey was for Minors not Minis....

Cheers, Ian

Thanks, it’s a full headlining on frame, just slightly grey rather than cream. I took it out of a 1965 car I broke years ago, it was a bitsa car though,

Did the early 1959 minis coming out of Cowley have the grey textured headlings ? I've got a couple with no roof light holes and also the commercials had them .
