Radiator hose too small

Post by 65MK1S »

Has anybody else had trouble getting the radiator hose
mounted on the water pump? I know I'm old and therefore
have lost some of my vigor but dish soap or some other
lub will usually do the trick. Not with this hose :( Both
are new.

I recently installed the same silicone hose on an evo pump and certainly struggled a bit but got it to work. Might be easier once the pump is mounted and you can work to get the hose in place.

Best of luck!

I use those hoses & have never had an issue, I do mount the pump to the engine first though.

Try warming the hose in hot water.
