1965 Austin Countryman "Cooperised"

Post by Fanfaniracing »

Very lucky to get hand on a 1965 Austin Traveller yesterday!

The car has a lot of rust in the Frontend and Sills but otherwise it looks quite unmodified and all important Parts are there! ( appart from the front Seats who are from an 1100 Special...)

My first idea is to put a 998 Cooper Engine in as there are some laying allround im my Sheed.
It will also benefit from a Cooper S Brake system and either S steel rims or a set of nice Period Alloy wheels.

To be continued...

Great project. I do like the idea of a Cooperised Estate.
