Vizzard quotes diaphragm 2-piece introduced in 1964 and changed to solid in 1973. There are variations in the thickness of the 107 tooth inertia start ring gear - most are 1/2", but some performance engines came with a 0.343" thick example, also fitted to Autos. Think this then became standard with solid flywheels. Bog standard ADO16 Austin / Morris 1300's came with a real heavyweight 2-piece variant which is probably best avoided.
