Front subframe from my '61

Post by Chewie Baker »

Ref the small 'L' shaped bracket from my front subframe, shown in situ on the 2nd pic

Does anyone know
1. what it does?
2. What bolt held it on? ('cause i've lost the bolts)

i think it may have been a dome head self tapper?

It's the bump stop for the top arm, it should have a rubber piece bonded to it, it's no use as it is. Held on by a UNF machine screw.
