I have fitted a lucas boot mounted reverse light which has two wires coming from the back. The gearbox i have has the reverse light switch fitted to the front again with two terminals i think? How all this is linked up? What size cable do i need to use? As you can tell i haven't a clue about electrics

Green wire from A4 fuse to the switch and green/brown from the switch to the light's red wire. The lights black wire goes to the body using a ring terminal on one of the boot hinge studs.

Thanks smiffy, just had a look at the link and they also do a cotton braided covered wire which looks nice, regards Steve

Just ordered some braided cable and connectors etc. Suprised how cheap they are. Thanks again

Yeah that surprised me as well, rich put me onto them.
The proper bullet tool, makes it so much easier than messing about with solder.
