Post by davidmuir »

Hi, Are the sunvisor brackets held by machine screws or self-tappers? ('67 Morris)
Thanks

On a post 66 car that has the standard 66 - 74 bracket at both end sun visors they are fixed with SELF TAPPERS not machine screws.

Ask me how I know. I fitted 2 on Saturday.

Earlier ones were indeed machine screws, but when the sun visor fixed at both ends came in, they went onto self tappers.

The very first ones had steel brackets, the later ones had the "stabndard" plastic bracket.
