Benelite grill and air intake hose location

Post by colonel mustard »

Recently acquired a benelite grill and have spent the last week refurbishing. I have come to trial fit on the car and the air intake hose location conflicts with the grill.

Where does the air intake need to be located for it to work?
Thanks again.

Yes unfortunately that's one downside. If you read the fitting instructions, its not ideal what was recommended.
Hopefully you found a nicer solution.

Many thanks,
I think I will make up some brackets off the inner wing to suit, to at least hold the air intake in place albeit just behind the spot lamp bowl.
Thanks again.

Another thing to watch is the LH 576 sits directly in front of the dynamo pulley, ok if you have an alternator, but will need the threads cutting down on the back of the lamp if not.

I have same problem and also the diagonal support on the front panel has been removed. The idea of fitting to the inner wing is good.
