In service emmisions (CO) readings

Hello there.
Does anyone have any rough idea on what the CO readings should be for a car running at revs?
I understand this is an almost unlimited answer request but I am currently playing with 2 x A series,1 and 1275 (1300gt) with twin 1 1/4 su's as standard and the other a 1400 with Weber 45dcoe. I can find idle figures of generally around 3.5 - 4.5 % but if I could get figures for 2500 and 4000 revs I feel I could set both up much better than these vague figures.
