Yes, put rear seatbelts in a 1967 Mk1. Got the two 'C' post panels from a late mini (may have been from Somerfords??)and had them tack welded in place. Then had the captive nuts for the 'female' part welded to the rear seat panel.

My car had them, I had them taken out. They were bolted through the rear parcel shelf (the inertia reel) and drilled through the rear wheel arch from inside the pocket
