I've got this 1275GT block which has got the factory fitted liners. The block is in very good condition, so I'd like to use it for racing. Would you guys use a factory linered block bored .020?
I like liners, they wear better etc, but can it cope with a rebore?

Re: Linered bores
The factory liners can be bored to +20 no problem .
The only issue is that they are only held in by the tightness of the fit in the block , they are not stepped in to the block so can drop down.
I always step in all liners , then they can,t move .

Re: Linered bores
I've fitted stepped liners in blocks I've had linered, but obviously, the factory didn't. I don't fancy removing these when already fitted.
Thanks Simon.
