Pickup back light fitting

Post by woodypup59 »

Any hints re fitting the back window on a pickup ?

Rubber on glass first or rubber in body first ?

A slight complication is that a custom tilt is fitted (made of stainless mesh), fitted with 24 small bolts.

It would be really nice not to have to remove it ! :D

Rubber around body like the front screen ;)

Sounds a bit tricky with the tilt in situ thou :?

Is the rear screen like the front screen - ie with a locking strip (a Claytonrite seal)? If so it is seal on car then fit glass.
No locking strip (direct glazing) then it is seal on glass then fit to car with para chord.
