Started to refit the locks since the handles have come back from rechroming but having issues with the lock being very hard to move when the key is in. (It sounds very gritty!).
I have cleaned out the bore to the handle and put a bit of general grease in there along with the (shoot bolt). Also the brass pin when installed jambs the lock up!
Any suggestions welcome?
Also the handle bezels, are these meant to be 3/16" thread?
Thanks in advance

Re: Door locks
Managed to sort the gritty bit out with a dremel and wire wheel, still having issues with the lock when the brass pin goes back in, when installed this stops the lock turning, looks like it might foul one of the slats on the lock.
Any advice as these are the original handles and locks
