Can anyone confirm if this plug is a good colour for correct mixture,

Also currently I have n9yc resistance plugs, is there anything more suitable for a 998 Cooper running big valve head at 9.8:1 freeflow manifold and twin h4s

I did set up with colourtune and it seemed ok,

BP6ES or BP7ES, don’t think any Mini race tuners would run a Champ. Roughly jump one plug grade for every point in compression ratio increase.

BPR6 or 7EIX if you wanted to splash the cash.

Thanks,

I tried some Bp7es and seems better, also set timing to 10 deg btdc as recommended by H&H, tickover seems better as well.
Main thing is it has stopped the slight running on I had when shutting down hot with the n9y plugs.

I was amazed how much timing moved when I removed the points and put my Aldon ignitor back in, was about 10 deg different.

Will have to take it out for a run next week, ran out of time today.
