I am putting my Mk1 doors back together - sliding windows.
The upper and lower bailey channels fit with no problems (on the "dry" build), and I have the stainless trim around the outside of the window apertures.
What, if any sealer is used on the lower bailey channel?
The bailey channel has the self adhesive backing on it to attach it to the chrome section it sits into, and this will then all be screwed down onto the door.
Is there any sealer used between the channel and the door frame, where the clips sit holding the outer lower stainless trim on?
I have hammered the inside of the clips flat as per a previous post.
