Hi: 1965 Austin Cooper 998 - what was the standard road wheel? 3.5" or 4.5"? Thank you.

I would say 3.5
The 4.5 was an option on the cooper and looked like the cooper s Wheels but we're deeper.

Yes, 3.5". Exactly the same wheel as a standard Mini and fitted with the same stainless steel full wheel trim as the SDL Mini. I don't think the 4.5" wheel was even an option from the factory - it was simply an aftermarket accessory.

The correct wheel part numbers for a 998 Cooper are Dunlop LP888, BMC Part N° 21A881.
