Are you sure it is a Mk2 Cooper S shell? I can't see any evidence of the boot board brackets although the rear bulkhead shots are too dark to tell. Also there is no RH tank stand. I would need someone more knowledgeable to confirm this, but the only other thing I can think of checking is whether it has the servo mounting holes in the RH inner wing, and the control box mounting holes next to the cross member, I'm just not sure if all cars had them or not. As it has no front panel it is impossible to tell from that.
It looks like a very savable car though but it is certainly a lot of work. Good luck with it, I look forward to seeing your progress.

Thanks im sure if it a genuine mk2 copper s shell from the points you said but tger bloke the shell originally came from did you use it for a mk2 cooper s he might have been reshelling it with this made to look like 1 but ya she saveable just gotta finish ky 1979 Clubman estate and got another 1991 city that needs doing just takes me ages as im only 18 and moneys tight with collage as well
