Anyone know the tightening torque for Dunlop d1 wheel nuts, I am wary to over tighten,
I have done all to 60lb ft at moment.

Thanks

That's a bit strong I use 40lbft when rallying

May have to slacken a bit then, I based it on what I torque ford wheel nuts to. It just I have had a couple come loose in use so wanted to make sure I was using correct torque.

60 is too high.

Some references
The ST data, bottom of page 12 states 43 lbft for Mg alloy.

The Rover Mini owners manual states 60 Nm for the 12” alloys. This is 44 lbft. This is the torque I use for my 10x4.5 Minispares ST style minilites.

The Mini Forum torque chart shows 37 lbft.

Thanks,

Not driven it at higher torque, so will adjust to 43 tomorrow, hopefully get some more miles on it make sure everything ok.
Don’t think I have done any damage hopefully.
Never had any issues before but front near side two wheel nuts came loose today so I tightened them by looks of it a bit too high.
