Throttle pedal differences?
I am going through my parts and I have two different versions of the early small pad throttle pedal. One of the pedals has an extra kink in it. I’m wondering if a previous owner made some adjustments to it? Or was there a version like this?

Is the one with the extra kink for LHD?
I did a LHD conversion for a customer a few years back and found the throttle pedal was too close to the trans tunnel so had to put in a similar kink to get clearance.

Re: Throttle pedal differences?
When I bought this mini someone had converted it to LHD in the past and it had the straight throttle pedal. I’m converting back to RHD and I had two pedals for RHD cars.
Here is a picture of the old LHD pedal that is straight. (On the left) the pedal on the right is the one with the extra kink.

Re: Throttle pedal differences?
quick search on ebay suggests that the left of the first two is correct, and fits my memory too

Cole
The first picture shows a LHD pedal that has been 'converted' to RHD....the brackets with the two holes are the same...dead give-a-way.
The last picture shows a correct LHD and a RHD pedal...notice the difference in the brackets! …..

Yeah, I think you are correct. I can’t find any similar to the one with the extra kink. Thanks for the help!
I agree, I think it’s safe to say that one is modified and destined for the back of the parts bin.
Thanks for all the help!
