Steering column to parcel shelf bracket

Hi all,

Was the chrome finished steering column support bracket as fitted to MK1 UK model Cooper/s also fitted to the MK2 Cooper/s models for a period until the change over to the black paint finished bracket as both are listed in mechanical parts catalogue AKD 5104 as 21A 322 and 2A 6217?
