Boot script badge repair
Does anyone know where I could get a boot lid script badge ,non Mini but the same style as the Austin Cooper on the MK 1 repaired ? It’s snapped so clean break & needs sticking back together.

Which badge do you need? maybe easiest to find it on Ebay or something like that

You may be able to Drill and Pin it together using epoxy, but i would think it could be quite tricky.
Cheers Dicky.

Thanks for the replies. The badge in question is from a car I sold years ago, then bought another one,so it’s purely sentimental. I could buy another, but if possible I would like it repaired .

Re: Boot script badge repair
I had a MK1 Morris Cooper rear badge which I managed to snap about 30 years ago. Then a couple of years or so back I thought I'd try to stick it back together with some Gorrilla glue for a laugh and bugger me it actually worked! I'm not sure how strong the bond is (I don't fancy trying to see how strong it is either, figured best just to leave it be) but two or three years later it's still together. It's just in a display cabinet and doesn't get any rough handling as such but I can pick it up without it coming apart so depending on what you are wanting to do with your badge then something like Gorrilla glue might do the job? I can't actually remember the type of Gorrilla glue it was but it was a thin, watery one and the join is quite well hidden.

Re: Boot script badge repair
The badge sits almost completely flat on the boot lid & is bolted in place so your suggestion sounds like it might work. I’ll give it a go & report back !!
Thanks.
Thanks.

You could try Bondic UV adhesive. That does work really well and is strong.
