A Cooper of sorts.
Well had a great day at Doune hillclimb today and bumped into several old friends, and even one of my old school teachers who's husband has been racing for the past 30 years, as luck would have it he now owns a 1963 T65 FJ and which was once driven by the great Jackie Stewart, I couldnt refuse a wee seat in it to, sad I know but it made my day, also made me admire even more the old school racers. Camera chucked it, so no pics of the momment doh! Just felt like sharing.

Mr Wishart is a very nice guy. Every time we are at Doune and he sees my wee boy Robin he immediately offers him a seat in the car. Robin tells me next time we go he's going to wear his racing driver suit and helmet!
he was having a bit of gear change trouble today and whilst Robin was making engine noises in the drivers seat the owner was dicsuing the selector issues with another guy who it turned out had had a Lotus 18 years back. One of them mentioned having owned the prototype Deep Sanderson, but I wasn't sure which it was and didn't get a chance to ask as Ice cream became a priority as the wee fellas interest waned.......
