Which way round does my fan go?

Hi
My friend has pointed out today that he thinks my fan may be on the wrong way round, so we checked on his cars and he has one way and one the other way round! so not sure of the correct way.

Its the 16 blade metal fan.

Does anyone have a picture of the right way?

Don't worry about it, it barely makes any difference.

It will make a difference depending upon the engine's need for cooling (standard 848 vs. 1380 with high compression), how the car is being driven, and the weather.
The centre, recessed section of the fan should "cup" around the water pump pulley to take advantage of how the fan blades are shaped. And it's easier to install the right way 'round.

thanks for the replies, yeah i have it the other way round! Think i will leave it as it is for now, and when i have nothing to do/fix on the mini play around with it then.
