Rebuild parts for Salisbury diff wanted.

Post by Le Coq Motorsport »

Hi everyone.
We did a small 'slalom' race last weekend and broke a driveshaft.
Now, to avoid more driveshaft and diff. damage we decited to change to some more 'stronger' material.
I have a Salisbury plate type diff., and Hardy-Spicer drive shafts on the shelf.
But before I wan't to build it inthe gearbox, I would like to replace the friction plates in the diff.
The only problem is...where can I buy Salisbury stuff.
I found the website from Tran-X who apparently continueing the Salisbury type diff.
But it looks like there's nothing to be found for the old type Salisbury.
Or would the plates from the new models that they sell also fit the olt type diff ?
Is there anyone who knows where I could get some stuff, or get me in contact with someone who would ?
Thnx in advance,
Dieter.

Do you want the internal torque slip up or down?

Well, I just want to leave it as it is. I was good that way.
I just saw that some friction plates have some small aboration marks.
And I was just thinking about replacing them whilst the diff. is out of the box.
Better save than sorry I guess.
