Hello,
Doing a bit of research into the early 850 rally cars and had a couple of picture's kindly sent over to me. From the looks of the pictures they did'nt have Halda's but a trip meter in the centre clock and some sort of Motorbike speedo(it looks like a smiths one off a BSA!!) from the pictures, mounted in front of the Navi. If it was a motorbike speedo, that would have had a trip milometer and Speedo built in but Im unsure and the pictures are grainy to be honest.
Has anyone got any other information?
I know Halda's were fitted in the early "S"s, not sure about the first works 997's though.
The best picture to show what I am on about is in the "Works Mini's" books if it helps.
