Hi,
I’ve got a set Titan roller rockers. All are marked as HL
7 are correct (I think) big bore jobs. LH, LH, RH, RH, etc. But one has the valve bearing in the centre, small bore I assume.
Is the only difference between small and large bore rockers the offset?
If so would it be okay to machine the small bore one so the offset is correct and then pack the bearing with washers / a spacer to the correct position? Or should I get it welded up first?
Thanks
Roller Rockers.

Re: Roller Rockers.
you are correct, the small bore one have the roller central in the rocker - this is due to the valve spacing on the different heads.
it will be unwise to tamper with the end of the rocker to move the pin, the way the pins are held in (certainly in quality roller rockers) means that its unsafe to press them out and back in - you would probably find that, once disturbed, the pin would try and spit its self as they are splined and internally circliped. i would guess that by the time the required machining was done it would be cheaper to buy the correct rocker
should the pin move in use it allows the roller to fall out, the remaining 'fork' of the rocker then presses on the top cap and flicks the collets out, which in turn drops the valve.
i have a few examples on my 'shelf of shame...'

Re: Roller Rockers.
Thanks for the reply. Doesn’t sound worth the effort or risk. More expensive junk I guess.
