found another quirk of the ministry of supply disabled driver cars.
no kick plates fitted to the doors - the door bins arent even drilled for them.
that must have saved the goverment a few quid.......

Is it a basic model ? I think they didn't have kick plates on the door.

i dont know, its got opening side windows, but i think these where fitted later. it was also supplied without a heater - quality!

Obviously the cars had many additions may be the windows were one aswell.
In your pictures the windscreen locking strip looks black not chrome,or it's faded chrome.The black is another basic thing.

Someone did tell me that the disabled cars were basics, so that seems to tie in with what Rich (guru-1071) is finding.
