Hi,
Hope this is in the right section. I'm looking at putting a set of 10x5 Weller steel wheels on my mini. My setup would involve 7.5" discs up front, and drums with built in inch spacers to match.
So now the car's track is wider by an inch. My question is, is the offset of wellers such that, they would protrude even further? Is it a case where a 10x5 Weller would create the same track as a conventional 10x6 due to the offset?
Would this setup fill the 2 1/4" minispares flares, or would they be shy and look funny?
Thanks

Re: Wheel offset
It would depend on the offset of the wheel you are going to use. The manufacturer should be able to provide this.
For example a 5 inch wheel with offset around 35 will fit 7.5" brakes without flares.
A 5 inch wheel with offset 15 will stick out of the guards an extra 20mm and might need flares to cover them.
