Verto to old school flywheel swap

Post by minimans »

Being totally ignorant of the late style verto clutch is it poss to swap back to the early style flywheel clutch? I have an A+ engine to go in my 60 MkI and don't really want the Verto clutch to stick out like a sore thumb!

Easily doable, just need a few parts - flywheel clutch and back plate, then on the outside slave cylinder and arm. Its a while since i did it so cant remember all the details.
