Early wire loom question

Post by ricardo »

I'm converting a 1965 wire loom to use in my 1961 (has a floor starter).

The wire loom diagram says there's a brown wire from the floor starter (battery) to the A in the control box (the same wire that connects the solenoid to the control box in later cars).

Question: I can't see anywhere (internet pictures) that wire connected to the floor starter. Can anyone show how that wire is routed / connected?

Many thanks

PS: wire diagram here

It's the brown (N) wire between 9 (regulator control box) and 31 (floor starter switch)

I think I got it. Can anyone confirm it is this wire going through the footwell above the gear lever?
