MK1 MK2 centre console

Does anyone know if it is possible to fit a centre console to a MK1 or MK2. If it is possible would anyone have any pictures they could post.

I don't see why it couldn't be done, but I suspect it would have to be a home made jobby, I have not seen a centre console for a MK1 for a long, long time.

Thanks for that Mark. It would enable more room to accommodate a radio and spot light switches. The hard part is making one that looks in keeping with the cars interior. I think i will cheat and have a word with a good carpenter friend of mine.

Custom consoles only make them for a MK3 onwards.
