Please can someone measure this,..
Under the bonnet on the end of the crossmember there are stiffners each side that join to the inner wing, I need the measurement between the top of the triangle stiffners one side to the other.
Just repaired one end and need to weld a new stiffner in place . I neglected to measure the old one before I took it off! MUPPET.
Here you go, the measurement is taken from the inside face of the stiffener, obviously these are tapered inwards at the front so the measurement is taken in the centre. The lower dimension might help.

Sounds like an S front panel stiffener. Was the lip where the stiffener attaches to on the lower edge bent flat in the centre ?
Yes, oil cooler fitted.
It's not a cooper s though , I will be refitting the cooler so i spose It's not a problem.
I want to restore it to the way I found it (minus the rust) many years ago!
