Converting hydro to dry

Post by Steve A »

The subbies on my mk1 were fubared and as i wanted a bit more 'flexibility' in my suspension i am going for dry frames, I have a front which has been blasted and powder coated and so was the rear but not over the moon with the finish so am going to replace it. As i already have a new stainless exhaust system with the later 'hangers' would it be o.k. to fit the later subby with the hangers already welded on or are there any other differences? and is it a no-no on a mk1?
Thanks Steve
