Sidelight not working

Hello all

I have a 61 mini and the offside sidelight wont illuminate when I turn the sidelights on, then when I turn the main beam on it will light up (albeit not really bright), I have cleaned the connections on the bulb side and also the connections at switch side, it sounds like a dodgy earth somewhere but I am not sure where else to look, I know there is a black wire which is in the back of the headlight bowl and this I have cleaned up too, Do I need to clean up the section of the front wing which the bowl sits against? Or are there anywhere else I need to look at?

Hi the earth wire runs along the top of the front panel with the rest or the light wires you will find it goes into a bullet connector thats probably where you problem is cheers Brian.
