October '59 Front Floorpan?

This October 1959 Mini below listed on ebay appears to have both the large and small front floorpan depressions......they changed over in mid-October 1959 according to '59 Register so is this odd (early & late) floorpan an original change over feature or perhaps due to a replacement drivers floor panel at some point?
