Re: Surf blue paint code
According to a temperamental website, it lists the PPG code as ARGBU35 for BU35 surf blue Austin rover group 1961 - 1966
I'll be interested to know if this is actually true or helpful when going to a modern painters.

Re: Surf blue paint code
I'm due to take my Kart chassis in for painting shortly, and it's goign to be Surf blue, so it'll be interesting to find out.
I recently had some Celulose mixed by my local motor factor and he just looked it up in his book. I just told him the colour name and the period. It didn't seem to be a problem.

Re: Surf blue paint code
I suddenly thought "I wonder if he wrote the code on the tin?"
He did.

I also dug out the old Lindsay Porter restoration guide. It lists surf blue as BU35, so that ties in with the code used earlier this year when I bought mine.
