I would run a couple of vertical bars welded to the tunnel up wards to your frame
it will stop the tunnel dropping down when you cut the floor out
also
have a good measure with a tape before you start to cut and record the measurements (I tend to sharpie them onto the side, so they don't go missing)

i don't see any diagonals which are important to prevent the structure from racking....

its diagonals you need......
page 1 of my restoration thread shows how the body shop braced my car whilst doing half floors and cross member. stops the gap changing whilst cutting the sills out!

Here's how mine was braced, full floor removal. It's not moved a thou.
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6462&start=20
AS you can see, they favour the 'chop it out and then clean up method' and they used an air chisel to remove the bulk of the floor, cutting well inboard of where they intended to join back to, which in the case of my car was along the door steps either side and the tow board at the front.
They then carefully cleaned back to clean metal along these areas, presumably with a grinder before clamping, measuring and welding.
