RSPCMS - just £5 can help

Post by rich@minispares.com »

look at this poor minispint, battered, abused, unloved

this once proud example is now earning its keep as a lowly daily driver and hack, suffering the shame of on street parking, infrequent oil changes and rusty sills

here it is pictured been abused by a uncaring owner with an overloaded roof rack carrying a heavy load of steel security grills and fence posts

the RSPCMS (royal society of prevention of cruelty to minisprints) are committed to stamping out this casual abuse of such a rare creature,

I'm not sure if the £5 is a requested donation for welding wire for the sill, the price of a raffel ticket, or the RRP?

Quote of the week!

GENIUS!

See what happens when Rich is allowed out without his carer.

Erm, what were you doing? That grass looks quite well looked after and no witness marks of ending up there after a moment. Did you reverse it in?!

I was stuck in a massive traffic jam thanks to the great Yorkshire show, so tried to do a u-ey on the grass verge.

in hindsight I may be should have stopped and reversed a little, but instead tried to get round in one..............

as soon as the passenger front wheel dropped into the dip the rest of the car just followed until the sump bottomed out

for the three days that the great Yorkshire show is on in Harrogate its important to have a taxi driver like knowledge of every single back road, snicket, cut through and rat run in the town, together with an intimate knowledge of the road closures and the affect that they have on the traffic flow - otherwise you will just sit in solid traffic for hours.

with some serious rat like cunning, the right car (mini is ideal  ) and balls big enough to force your way out of all the side roads (because the angry red faced farmers and show goers will NEVER let anyone out of any junction), its possible to get across town in not much more time than it would normally take..............
