Found some details on the Mini World site

6 Mini Meet and Greet
At Pavilion Gardens, Buxton, Derbyshire. Trophies for different categories. Great location right in the middle of town.

I'm off to the Gaydon BMC & Leyland Show myself.

Buxton is only 25 minutes away for me, I just wondered if anyone had been before and if it was worth a visit?

So I went to the Buxton Mini show and it was a very nice little free show. Located in the beautiful Pavilion Gardens in the heart of the Peak District National Park on a wonderfully sunny day, it was a nice place to be.

I still have soft spot for an Elf or a Hornet. This one is possibly not for the purists though!

That looks like a great little show!

I have edited the links as they were originally not showing correctly.

I was driving round in this at the weekend.

That's just showing off

How do I get the images to look like your tank, so to speak?

The links you used were linking to pages on the hosting site. To make them look like my tank, the addresses need to be directly to the image file.

For example;

If I go to the first link

https://picasaweb.google.com/1114220958 ... 6975314898

It takes me to the page. then if I right click on the image & select "View image info" a load of text comes up and one line is highlighted.

I copy & paste the info into my post

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-SN9X ... uxton2.JPG

Highlight it with the (IMG) tags as you did and it comes out like this.

Easy when you know how.

PS. I use Mozilla Firefox. In other browsers the commands will be slightly different, but the meaning will be very similar.

With all due pride,I'm happy to say that I was 1 of only 2 in our group that could indeed fit in ALL the hatches.

All be it with a certain amount of puffing & blowing

And 2 of the others are over 6 foot :?

Nearly 40mph over rough ground in something that weighs 27 tons is quite an experience.

That looked a nice little gathering of Minis. I know the Smoke Grey car from when it lived in Hayfield , nice venue as well The Pavillion that I visit fairly regularly. Unfortunately I was preoccupied with a particular cycle race that came close by.
