New water pump, with correct thin impellor, fitted by Green and Whites in 2009.

OK, I got an unexpected day off today so I spent the day in the garage. Just got to put the front seats and belts in and a little snagging then MOT and hopefully on the road.

Where's the side pieces for the heater and the trim for the central floor box section? And another set of carpets get fitted. You will probably have to make the hole for the gear lever bigger as the carpet will probably lift up when you move the lever into 1st and 3rd.

UPR is almost complete. I just need to fit the braided petrol pipe to the carb in the engine bay, the front grill and then she is ready for the MOT. I had it booked in for tomorrow but its forecast rain so I think i'll cancel it.

Have fun with UPR Dean. You'll soon get used to people coming up and asking questions and telling you their Mini stories. Also you'll also get more waves, and thumbs up, per mile than any other car.

I never had any problem come MOT time, there's so little to test the MOTer always just hung around not doing much just to use up the time he was logged onto the VOSA system.

Now all you need is some nice sunny weather to enjoy that bright powder blue interior.

Good news is that UPR is all sorted and running sweet :?   I have bad news,   When I put the windscreen back in UPR I slipped with the knife whilst cutting the silver filler and scratched to roof. I touched it up and tried sorting it today but made a real mess     I think I now need to have the roof painted to get it sorted   Really upset with myself. Kind words welcome. Does anyone know of anyone who could paint my roof before saturday so I don't feel to embarrassed by my monumental cock up !!

If your touch up is the right shade you may still be able to get that repaired without a repaint, depending on how big it is. I wouldn't rush into painting the roof just for weekend. Give me a call Dean.
