Triumph TR6 2548 Jim Johnstone

Jim was a mate of my Dad's back in the early 60's and has been competing at Harewood every year since. He is something of a Harewood legend & I am sure he will have some great stories. He will also be about 7 seconds quicker than I have ever gone up the hill

For those people who are going to bring their car to the club stand. I STILL haven't received any tickets, I have been trying to contact the organisers since Monday, but no luck yet. Will keep you posted.

7.45 scrutineering commences.
8.45 new drivers / drivers briefing.
9.00 practice starts.
12.00 first timed run.
13.30 (apx) lunch break.
14.15 timed runs recommence.

My race car is still in bits.

Only spares time I have is Saturday afternoon.

It's a 140 mile round trip to get to it.

hell no, at worse case I will turn up in the sports coupe and race that

I have sent my cell phone number to everyone who has asked for a ticket. If you ring me when you get there someonne will bring your ticket out.

That is assuming that I receive them in time.

Great day on the MK1 Performance stand at Harewood Hill Climb , Nice to meet up the some forum lads , Nearly forgot we won best club stand . Yaaaaa ,

By the look on Riches face that canned stuff real does look like it made from Rossi's piss.

Some interesting cars on display, and a few whizzing up the hill as well.

Unlucky for Mark and Adam with the diff going south in the Wolseley.

I'll post up some snaps in the next day or so.

thanks to mark blowing the hornet up (good job he had a spare car there!) I finished second

cracking day out, was the busiest I have ever seen harewood hillclimb

Another great day out at Harewood, and great to put a few more faces to names! Some cracking cars there too.

Had a cracking day yesterday, met some new faces from the forum and watched some amazing cars race up the hill.
Its always good to have a spare Mini at Harewood...
