I've toyed with fitting an A35 dash to a Mini before (and a Midget one incidentially) as the widths are pretty similar.
What are the seats out of does anyone know?

Ian,

The seats are ADO16 Mk2 MG, Riley, Wolseley or very early Austin / Morris 1300 GT. Later 1300 GT cars had navy blue interior to a lower standard.

They look to be in very good condition indeed.

Issigonis' concept sketches for the original Mini clearly show he was thinking along the lines of the A35 dash too.

Looks like early Cooper and S levers make more money than the straight ones from a 59 nowadays

Interesting that he also had the cold air vents long before they were introduced. I wonder why it took so long for them to come in?

Well spotted but if it is a 1962 that registration wouldn't have been original either! ("B" suffix = 1964).
