Never seen a B series one before, but then again, never looked for one!
I do like the thumbscrews/nuts - does anyone reproduce ones similar?

The thumbscrew nuts look like PH Grill buttons with a slot cut in them.

Are the grill buttons the correct thread for the rocker studs Mark?
I thought' they'd be 1/4" UNF not 5/16"?

Proper or no?
Do you suppose he deliberately misspells them as Patel to avoid problems??

"These are not the re-production rims being sold by various companies at the moment in fact you will be hard pressed to find another set for sale at the moment. "

There is something David Cameron weasel wordy about the above.

You of course assume that they are the original ones. Not those machined up from the blanks and then made to look rough with a bit of shit paint.

I am very suspicious.

that kingfisher has been on a few times, its odd looking, but in quite a cool way, it sort of looks like a bastard love child between a Datsun 240z and a Aston DB7 - with a bit of marcos in the mix as well.

with a bit more work I think it would look a lot better - and im not a fan of the mini marcos shape at all
Rich That Kingfisher is based on a Jem not a Marcos ,just read the ebay add for the car it tells you.

Those Vortz's look OK to me. I just think the seller can't spell or write particularly well.

I particularly like the " taste exempt" in the description.

I've toyed with fitting an A35 dash to a Mini before (and a Midget one incidentially) as the widths are pretty similar.
What are the seats out of does anyone know?

Ian,

The seats are ADO16 Mk2 MG, Riley, Wolseley or very early Austin / Morris 1300 GT. Later 1300 GT cars had navy blue interior to a lower standard.

They look to be in very good condition indeed.

Issigonis' concept sketches for the original Mini clearly show he was thinking along the lines of the A35 dash too.
