Thanks for the pics, if anyone's got anymore let me know (Stuart!!! :D ) especially the Mk3 on site.

Now it's a whole year before we get to gather at Blyton again for 'Action Day 2' - the sequel. BUT I'm in talks at the moment with Colin at Javelin with regards to a possible cheeky visit later in the year for a timed sprint. This would not be under the umbrella of the MSA but would be run along the same lines as any other timed speed event, with probably more runs than you normally get with a sprint (which isn't bloody many!) and you wouldn't need the latest togs, MSA license etc etc to take part. I've suggested to him that he opens it up to classic cars generally to make it more interesting. You never know, if it takes off it could become a regular feature there.

I'll report back.

Did you know that Ferguson made a single engine 1800 permanent 4WD evaluation car with torque bias transmission and a back end that used Moke prototype/Cooper S diff parts?

Strange but true.......

Anita Taylor was 21 in that photo, I interviewed her today and the article will appear in Mini Magazine in July with lots of great photos. :)

Unfortunately she went to Blyton on the wrong day but will be there next year she says and I hope reunited with a couple of her cars! 8-)
