@ gpmini
Here is a pic of the white S in the late evening sun two weeks ago.

Thanks! Stunning car and pics. What front seats are you using? You must have very long arms

And is the CCC lining an aftermarket sticker or did you have it custom made?

Thanks gpmini
The seats are newton commercial bucket seats. I'm 1,83 meter and they are pretty compftable. And as you can see on the pic, I didn't use a drop bracket for the steering column.
All the stickers on the Mini and the lining are handmade by me. It took me quite some time to create all the stickers on the computer and to find a propper way for the lining. But now I'm very satisfied with the result.

Cheers Pete, it's been 13 years and nearly 20,000 miles on the clock since I put it back on the road after restoration. Its not done much in the past 3 years, so I'm just doing bits and pieces, new suspension bushes, discs and pads, rear cylinders, new tyres, need to sort some shock absorbers. The RC40 and free flow manifold are still ok after 13 years but it has done a lot of motorway miles getting everything warmed up. Probably time for some new hoses and fan belt, just as a precaution. Fitted a Formula wood rim, a rev counter in a Speedwell pod and a capillary temp gauge as it always read a bit hot on the standard one . I've kept all the original bits so it can go back to standard if required.
Bill.

Yes Tim,it is still a work in progress to get all the correct bits on it but I tend to get them on the road and then slowly get them to the way I want.

Our Mk2 is on wheels for the first time in years. A barn find that didn't need any body work, and beautifully straight.
The idea is to build a Mk2 Cooper Car Co replica, and Dr Mabo's white car (in an earlier post on this thread) is an inspiration. Apologies for the poor quality phone pics, but I am so excited to see it out in the sun for the first time that I had to show it here too
